Can AVSi work with our internal IT team or managed service provider?

Yes. AVSi can document application requirements and coordinate addressing, VLANs, multicast, firewall, internet, credentials, remote access, and support boundaries with the responsible IT team.

Does existing category cable automatically support AV-over-IP?

No. Cable category, length, condition, termination, topology, switches, uplinks, configuration, and application bandwidth must all be evaluated. Testing may be required before reuse.

Why do multicast settings matter for IPTV and AV?

Multicast can distribute one stream efficiently to many receivers, but switching, VLAN, querier, snooping, fast-leave, uplink, and endpoint behavior must be designed and tested to prevent flooding or unreliable joins.
